Answer #1

All the seven beatitudes refer to the second coming of the Jesus Christ and the need for being prepared and guide one to overcome one’s desire to be attached with the worldly possessions and duties. This would mean that those who are ready would be taken by the lord thus, the will power to overcome the worldly works and expect for the second coming of god would make them blessed. When one is detached to the worldly things and focus more on god’s work, one would be able to overcome the distractions and stay focused with complete preparedness. However, it also talks about the invitation to the feast of the lord which would mean that it would be only those who have been preparing for a while in terms of preparing oneself by overcoming the desire to stay behind would be able to join the second coming.
