Karle Faye Tucker case is an example where pickax murdering happened and was sentenced to botched execution. Botched execution has several technique and lethal medicine injection technique was the one used in this case for execution. Botched executions accounts to nearly 3% of the entire executions that were practiced in the United States between years 1890 and 2010. Methods such as Hanging, lethal gas, lethal injection, electrocution and firing squads are the most prevalent nothing execution methods used in pickax murder cases. From my view, pickax murders should be given death sentences based on the situation that has led the accused to commit crime and the psychology of the accused. If the accused has a strong mind to change and influence society from preventing a crime based on his/her life experience, their death sentence shall be reduced as to help more members of society from doing criminal acts which would be a really great aspect.
