The recommendations I would like to give Mark for the building and making of the board of advisors are:

1. To complete his social venture's values, vision, mission and strategic plan first. It would help the board advisors to understand and know your organisation in a better manner and also in a complete manner for further processes and understanding.

2. Find advisors that would fit your needs. Make sure to find the advisors which are up and ready to be a part of this social venture for helping the people find homes. Make sure they know it is not a profit making venture and also fit with your needs of the company.

3. Make sure to institute a one year long agreement with each advisor. This is because many people come and leave the company after making all the allegations. Thus, always start small and have agreements signed up with each advisor for better and effective working.
