Since we are not sure about population proportion, we will take p = 0.5

We know that,

Margin of error, E = z_{\alpha /2} *\sqrt{p(1-p)/n}

0.02 = 2.576*\sqrt{0.5(1-0.5)/n}

n = (2.576*0.5/0.02)2

= 4147.36

~ 4148
