The answer is both choices A and D

For a counterclockwise induced current, the direction of induced magnetic field is out of the page. There can be two possibilities for this to happen.
i) When the direction of the magnetic field produced by the current-carrying wire is out of the page and decreasing. For this to happen, the current must flow to the right and its value must decrease (option A)
ii) When the direction of the magnetic field produced by the current-carrying wire is into the page and increasing. For this situation, the current must flow to the left and its value must increase (option D)
