Answer.

Booboo doll experiment was introduced by psychologist Albert Bandula. It is an important and useful experiment to study observational learning and social learning. .The experiment was done in 1961.

In this experiment Albert Bandura used a doll. This experiment suggest that people not only learn when they are rewarded or punish but also learn from somebody else being rewarded or punished.

It is not necessary to give punishment to children directly in physical form.Punishment can be given to other means of things like doll that was used in experiment to produce fear in children. When doll was beaten it creates fear in child that if he does not obey commands then same punishment may be given to him as doll gets. This experiment is important in developing observational learning and social learning.
