Answer #1

Area of pizza 1 = \small \pi \times (4)^{2}=16\pi\textup{ sq.inches}

Area of pizza 2 = \small \pi \times (8)^{2}=64\pi\textup{ sq.inches}

Each one of them is cut into 6 equal pieces.

Area of each piece of pizza 1 = \small \frac{16\pi}{6}\textup{ sq.inches}

Area of each piece of pizza 2 = \small \frac{64\pi}{6}\textup{ sq.inches}

\small \frac{\textup{Area of each piece of pizza 1}}{\textup{Area of each piece of pizza 2}}=\frac{16\pi /6}{64\pi /6}=\frac{1}{4}

Answer: option (b): (1/4)th the size.
