The regression equation is:

Y(Sales) 10.52+2.8*Quarter2-3.5*Quarter3+0.4*Quarter4 +0.2*t

(a).

Find the estimated sales for the first quarter for the next year

Sales = 10.52 + 2.8 * 0 - 3.5 * 0 + 0.4 * 0 + 0.2*13

Sales = 13.12

(b) .

Find the estimated sales for the fourth quarter for the next year

Sales = 10.52 +  2.8 * 0 - 3.5 * 0 + 0.4 * 1 + 0.2*16

Sales = 14.12
