It can play a significant role, which can affect the company's planning process related to marketing. Effective marketing planning can help the company achieve its organizational objectives effectively and efficiently and take a competitive advantage over its competitors. There are many types of environments which affect the company's marketing decisions like:
1) Technology environment:
The technology environment plays a vital role in the overall growth of the company. If the company needs to remain on top, it should utilize the technology resources better, attracting the customers towards their products.
2) Competitive Environment:
This point states that the company needs to work in a way, which will help them to compete better with their competitors in the market. Competition is at a peak in every business field, and to remain ahead of its competitors, the company should work systematically because an increase in competition can affect the company's marketing decision.
3) Social Environment:
This point states that the company needs to know its responsibility towards the society and try to contribute in a better way. It can affect the company's marketing decision, leading to the downfall of the company's reputation and goodwill. The company should contribute to society from their revenues they are earning, and if they do not contribute, it will harm the customers thinking, and the government will also not provide any subsidies to the company.
