The answer is primary alcohol (OPTION C)

Aldehyde means compound which is containing (C-HO)

EXAMPLE: methanal (H-CHO)

On reaction with strong reducing agent(reducing agent is the compound which reduces the other one by oxidizing itself) they will be coverted to alcohols.

The strong reducing agents might be like NaBH4,Li AlH4 etc.

Reduction by these agents will turn the Aldehydes to Primary Alcohol.(Primary alcohol means carbon where (OH) is clinging to will be having only one direct carbon group attached with.

Let us see one example of This reaction.

Ethanal(Ethanal means CH3-CHO)+LiAlH4 will give (CH3-CH2-OH) and whatever the aldehyde reacts with strong Reducing agent will convert into primary alcohols.

The answer is primary alcohol (OPTION C)
