Here R1, R2, R3 are parallel resistances. The equivalent of these three resistances are series with R4.

R1=6ohm, R2=R3=4ohm, R4=3ohm

Equivalent resistance of R2 and R3=(R2*R3)/(R2+R3)=(4*4)/(4+4)=2ohm

Equivalent resitance of R1 with 2ohm (R2 and R3)=(R1*2)/(R1+2)=(6*2)/(6+2)=3/2ohm

The equivalent of these three are series with R4

So, equivalent resistance of this circuit is R4+3/2=3+1.5=4.5ohms
