Answer #1

According to Newton third law, to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction force.

A) hammer hits nail.

Action = force applied by hammer on nail.

Reaction= force by nail back to hammer.

B) You punch your friend on face.

Action= punch on the face

Reaction= force from face back to the punch.

C) Earth gravity pull down on a a physics book.

Action= force of gravity pulling the book

Reaction= gravity force due to book pulling the earth

D) A helicopter blade pushing air downward

Action= force by blade on the air in downward direction

Reaction= force by air on helicopter blade in upward direction.

E) A round gets shot out of an Ak-47

Action= force from AK 57 on the round during shot.

Reaction= recoil force due to round in opposite direction of its motion.

F) A guy throws a ball on ice.

Action = The ball hits the ice.

Reaction= the ice hits the ball back due to which ball bounces..

G) Mario hits his head against a coin block.

Action = Mario's head hitting the coin block,

Reaction= coin block hitting back the head of Mario.

H) Michael Jordan lifts off with his Air Jordans on the Chicago bulls basketball court.

Action = Michael Jordan applied force on the floor in downward direction.

Reaction= the floor applies force on Michael Jordan in Upward direction.

I) Wall- E uses his fire extinguisher to propel himself towards spaceship Axiom.

Action= The fire extinguisher releases air at high pressure in the atmosphere. So force is developed from extinguisher to to atmosphere.

Reaction= The atmosphere applies equal and opposite force to the fire extinguisher and thus propels Wall-E in opposite direction.
