Answer #1

the magnitude of angular momentum is given by

L = mvr

here,

m = 4 \ kg

v = 6 \ m/s

we will first calculate the magnitude of r = l(OB) ( length of OB)

using, Pythagorus law,

r = \sqrt{4^2+1^2}= \sqrt{17}

\therefore L = 4 \times 6 \times \sqrt{17} = 24\sqrt{17} \approx 98.95 \ kg.m^2/s

So, the magnitude of angular momentum of point B with respect to point O is 98.95 kg.m2s-1
