Answer #1

Clearly from the boxplot

Minimum = 10

Q1 = 20

Median = 30

Q3 = 40

Maximum = 70

1. We know there is 25% observations below the Q1

So, 25% of cities in AB have fewer than 20 positive cases.

2. We know there is 50% observations below the Median and 50% above the median .

So, 50% of cities in AB have more than 30 positive cases .

3. We know there is 75% observations below the Q3 and 25% above the Q3.

Here 40 is the Q3 .

So there is 25% of cities in AB have more than 40 positive cases.

25%

4. The outlier is the point which is completely outside the boxplot . From the diagram the outlier is 90 .

The correct answer is 90
