We have,

1 Period Weight Dt 72.5 2 73.6 3 74.9 4 75.0 5 76.5 6 0.1 71.6 7 0.3 74.5 8 0.6 74.2 9 73.4 10 74.5

Forecast for the period 9, F9 = w1*Dt(8) + w2*Dt(7) + w3*Dt(6) = 0.6 * 74.2 + 0.3 * 74.5 + 0.1 * 71.6 = 74.03
