Question 7 answer.

As per the mentioned ABG she is experiencing compensated respiratory alkalosis.

Interpretation:

1.PCO2 is low 28mmHg (normal range 35-45)

2. PH is on high side of normal 7.45 (normal pH is 7.35-7.45)

Therefore compensated respiratory alkalosis.

PO2 is 53 is low , it may be due to mucus displacing air in the alveoli caused by pneumonia
