Ans. Proportion of candies that are red, p = Number of red candies/ Total number of candies = 14/54
=> p = 0.2592

=> Standard error of proportion, SE = [p*(1-p)/Sample size]^0.5 = [0.2592*(1-0.2592)/54]^0.5

=> SE = 0.05963

At 90% level of confidence, z critical = 1.645

=> Margin of error = z*SE = 1.645*0.05963

=> Margin of error = 0.0981
