Answer-Children's are the hardest hit by poverty,12 million kids in the US and 1 billion worldwide, with probably larger numbers that go unreported, the main reasons for the hardest hit by poverty are-

1. Children are hardest hit by poverty due to the unemployed and poor parents, due to poor parents are not able to full fill the basic requirements of their children.

2. Children are hardest hit by poverty due to the lack of social services, social services which means the social services provided by the government to the poor section of the society, these services are also lacking in developing countries due to non-support of the government.

3. Children are hardest hit by poverty due to the lack of education, which means when children's born in poor families than their parents are not able to support them for schooling and higher education, by which they are forced to work in factories, agriculture field, etc which makes them poor.

4. Children are hardest hit by poverty due to the discrimination in the society on the basis of gender,religion ,sex etc.

5.Children are hardest hit by the poverty due to the inequality of income in the society.
