here, s is the distance of the second minima from the centre.

We know,

s= 2×D×/a

here, D = distance between the screen and the slit = 2 m

   = wavelength of light = 600×10^(-9) m

a = width of the slit = 3×10^(-4) m

Now, s = 2×2×600×10^(-9)/3×10^(-4)

=> s = 0.008 m

The correct option is : a) 0.008 m
