Sundays are paid at double time. Employees Bonno and Ryan are paid time and a half for anything over 8 hours a day. What am I doing wrong? I need gross earnings. $15,604.29 is coming up as the wrong answer.

For employee Ryan, the total hrs worked is 79 (8+8+8+4+8+9+10+8+8+8) = 79 hrs. You have taken as 83hrs. Therefore if we changed that to 79hrs, Regular earnings of Ryan will be 79*18 = 1422. And for Overtime of 3 hrs 0.5 times extra over norml wages, it will come to 3hrs*9 = 27. Total earnings of Ryan will be 1422+27 = 1449. (1521-1449) 72 less than your amount. Therefore the total earnings will be 15,532.29 (15604.29 - 72)
