= 400+600 = 1000

Total Liabilities is 300 (Accounts Payable)

The Accounting Equation is

Assets = Liability + Owner's Equity ( Capital)

1000 = 300 + Owner's Equity

Owner's Equity = 1000-300

Owner's Equity = 700

Total Liabilities and Equity = Liabilities + Equity

=700+300

Total Liabilities and Equity =1000
