Formula when premium is shared = (Amount Disabled Pays / Total payed) * Monthly received

THEN

Monthly received - THAT answer

Total Disability Premium = $ 4,300 + $ 2,750 = $ 7,050

Premium paid by Terry = $ 2,750

= $ 2,750 x $8,850 = $ 3,452.13

$7,050

Amount included in gross income = $ 8,850 - $ 3,452.13 =$ 5,397.87
