  • Total wages for 1500 units(5 days)= $30*300 hours*5 days= $45000
  • Extra units produced= 300
  • Extra wage rate= 0.5 per unit
  • Extra wages= 300*0.5= $150
  • Total wages= 45000+150= 40150
  • Direct labour 40150
