Answer #1

Answer: Cost of goods sold = $50,000

Calculation:

8,000(rent on factory and equipment - manufacturing overhead) + 24,000(payment to factory workers-direct labor) + 18,000(tomatoes, onions, spices and bottles-direct material) = $50,000

Others can't be included in cost of goods sold since they are indirect costs.
