Financial statements are prepared to show the earnings of the company and the net worth of the company which helps investors creators to analyse whether there investments are worth or not. Financial statement also provide reasonable information to investors so that they may take an informed decision whether to invest or not similarly information such as accounts payable ratio help the creditors understand weather there bills will be paid or not.

Financial statements such as cash flow statement helps in understanding the flow of cash and the difference of cash flow from net income as well as investment decisions of the company.
