Answer #1

Total revenue , total cost of revenue and Net income of BankUnited is as follows:

2019 2018 2017

Total revenue $1,429,074    $1,581,166 $1,362,365

Total cost of $385,180 $2,84,563 $1,73,933

Revenue

Net Income $3,13,098 $3,24,866 $6,14,273

We can see from the above given schedule that the Net iscome has reduced substantially if we compare tye income of 2017 with 2018, further the income has decreased from 2018 to 2019. The possible reasons of sunh a decrease are as follows;

1. Poor Management: Management of BankUnited might not be performing well and thus leading to declining results at the year end.

2. Increase in Competition: Increase in market competition could also be a reason behind the decrease in net income.

3. Increase in cost of revenue: We can also see the schedule above and notice that cost of revenue year by year. It was the least in 2017 while it is highest in 2019.
