Answer #1

Bank Reconciliation Statement

Balance as per registers    3802.71

Add:

Outstanding Checks

($381.67 + $109.49 + $287.07 + $434.25 + $381.92) 1594.4

Interest Credit    2.11

Total 5399.22

Less:

Outstanding Deposits

( $442.53 + $66.69 + $337.05) (846.27)

Bank Service Charge (3.60)

Balance as per pass book 4549.35

Note

Outstanding checks are added back because they would have been deducted from register but not from pass book.

Interest credit is not added in registers so now will be added.

Similarly, Outstanding deposits are added into the registers but not in pass book, so now will have to deduct from balance of registers.

Bank service charge need to subtracted.
