Auditor independence is the concept of independence where an auditor is free from an influence of parties who have financial interest in the audit. Independence of mind is the state of mind that permits the provision of opinion without being affected by influence that compromise professional judgement,allowing an individual to act with integrity and exercise objectivity and professional skepticism.
