Solution:

\lambda = 45/Hour; \mu = 15/Hour

4 minutes for 1 transaction. Hence, there will be 15 transactions in 1 Hour.

Hence, the service rate for one clerk is 15/Hour

Now, if there are 5 clerks, together all the five clerks will have a service rate of 5*15 = 75/Hour

Hence, Service rate, u = 75/Hour.
