Instead of smaller molecular weight boiling point of water (100°C)is quite high in comparison to hydrogen teleride(-4°C) and hyrogen sulphide (-62°C). This is because water requires more energy to break its hydrogen bonds before it can then begin to boil. The same concept is applied to freezing point as well.
