Answer #1

1)The neurons transmit the signals in the form of electrical pulses. When a neuron is at rest, no pulse is flowing thorugh it, this is called resting membrane potential. This is typically -70mV. When a pulse passes through it, the neuron depolarises and the volatege increases to -55mV. This is called Threshold voltage or stimulus. The action potential is not set in and it fires the signal.
