Answer #2

SOLUTION :

Points (-3, -2) and (3, 14) are on the line, so,

Slope of the required line  = (14 - (-2)) / (3 - (-3)) = 16/6 = 8/3

So, the point-slope form equation is :

(y - (- 2)) = 8/3 (x - (- 3))

=> y + 2 = 8/3 (x + 3)  (ANSWER)

So, equation of the required line in intercept form is :

Simplifying point - slope equation : y = 8/3 x + 8 - 2

=> y = 8/3 x + 6  (ANSWER)
