Batman is shooting bat shells onto the top of a cliff as shown below. The shells leave his cannon with a velocity of 61 m/s which is aimed in a direction 20o from the vertical. The vertical height of the end of the cannon is 3.00 m and the height of the cliff is h = 36 m. So, the top of the cliff is a distance (36 - 3) m above the end of the cannon. How far from the cannon, D, do the shells land? (Neglect air resistance in this problem.) Give your answers in meters and to three significant figures.
