1)When you have a C-String in your source code, you must include the header file string.h in your program.

Answer)TRUE

While using strings in c-programming, we use the string handling functions, that are predefined in the string.h header file. Hence, we always use the string.h header file while using the string functions in c.

2)The declaration statement double scores[30]; declares an array which has 30 double type elements and score[30] in the last element.

Answer) False

In an array, the indexing starts from 0 , 1, 2, 3 and so on. Here in the question it is declared that double scores[30], that means the indexing of the elements starts from 0 , 1,2, 3,...................29. The last index of the array is 29 and doesent have the score[30] i.e, 30 th indexed element.

3)Variables declared within a function are called local variables.

Answer)True

All the variables that are declared within the function have their scope till that function defination only i.e, As soon as the function is completed , those variables doesn't have any scope outside the function. They have the local scope. Therefore they are called local variables.

Lab Topics • The basics of Array object Use the following Coding Guidelines • When declaring a variable, you usually want to initialize it. Remember you cannot initialize a number with a string. Remember variable names are case sensitive. Use tabs or spaces to indent code within blocks (code surrounded by braces). Use white space to make your program more readable. Use comments after the ending brace of classes, methods, and blocks to identify to which block it belongs. Problem...
