Assume you are the owner/operator of a business, and a high-dollar dispute arises with a significant vendor or customer. You suspect litigation may be the only resolution to the dispute.

After reading about the alternatives to litigation, would you be willing to try (a) negotiation, (b)mediation, and/or (c) arbitration before filing a lawsuit? Why or why not?

If I would be the owner /operator of a business and high-dollar dispute arises with a significant vendor or customer,litigation might be the only resolution I would have suspected. Because litigation proceed with the fighting or defending in a civil court of law. But, after reading about the alternatives to litigation that is either negotiation or mediation or arbitration I would choose the alternative mediation because litigation has become the old process and also involves the court.

So, Mediation would be the best option to resolve the dispute as because this process generally involves the single mediator who helps in the case and facilitate discussion whithout judging it and also resoluting disputes happening eventually.
