For a planar molecule to be aromatic should have (4n + 2) pi electrons in conjugation. (a) = 14 pi e^- (4 times 3 + 2) => aromatic (b) counting all the pi-bonds we have '8' every pi-bond = 2 pi electrons = 16 pi electrons It does not follow (4_n + 2) pi electron rule hence it is not aromatic. (c) 12 pi electrons. Hence not obeying (4n + 2) rule so it is not aromatic. (a) double bonds not in conjugation. If we include the electrons (negative charge) an carbon. It becomes 8 pi electrons.
