Looking for a proper answer to my circuits problem. I'm really confused with the first two parts, and the graphing part as well.
Here's the figure referenced in the question. (25.20)
let the current started from 1.20 V battery is i1 and started from is i2
if the current through 5.0 ohm resistor is i then
i = i1 + i2
i2 = 50 mA
V2ohm = (50 mA) (2.0 ohm)
= 100 mV
= 0.1 V
+ 0.1 V = 1.20 V
= 1.20 - 0.1
= 1.1 V
current through 5.0 oh resistor is
i = 1.20 / 5.0
= 0.24 A
= 240 mA
the current through the 4.00 ohm resistor is i1 then
i1 = i - i2
= 240 mA - 50 mA
= 190 mA

Answer the three parts that are left blank. I got the first part correct, I'm just really confused on how to setup the rest of the questions. All help is appreciated.
Force homework? I'm really having a problem with these questions on my homework, and could really use some help. Explanations would be really appreciated as well. 1. When you push a 1.80 kg book resting on a tabletop, it takes 1.70 N to start the book sliding. What is the frictional force exerted on the book when you push on it with a force of 0.65 N? 2. To move a large crate across a rough floor, you push on...
I'm not totally sure how to answer this question and would really appreciate a little walk through on how to go about figuring it out. I solved the first part of the problem that asked for the amount of Coulombs required to float up above the surface of our planet, which is 4.57C for a 70kg person, and 150N/C for a field pointing toward the center of the Earth. What I need to know is whether or not the charge...
I'm so confused with this problem i would really appreciate the help with this one. Thank you!! Part A Constants Compute the position of the sandbag at 0.250 s after its release A hot-air balloonist, rising vertically with a constant speed of 5.00 m/s, releases a sandbag at the instant the balloon is 40.0 m above the ground. (See (Figure 1)) After it is released, the sandbag encounters no appreciable air drag Express your answer in meters to three significant...

I am really confused with this problem... I would really appreciate the help thanks! The driver of a car traveling on the highway suddenly slams on the brakes because of a slowdown in traffic ahead Part A If the car's speed decreases at a constant rate from 76 mi/h to 50 mi/h in 3.0 s, what is the magnitude of its acceleration, assuming that it continues to move in a straight line? Express your answer in miles per hour squared...
Please read specifically what I'm looking for below! Thanks in advance! Answer each question thoroughly and clearly/ Essay answers must be more than 3 or 4 sentences but kept within the bounds of an essay exam (4 - 6 paragraphs). All your writing must be in your own words. Paraphrase (restate what you read) rather than copying material from the the Internet. I provided the question and the answer for this problem. I'm doing my calculations and I'm not getting that answer. If you can please show your work, I would appreciate it! A recent poll of over 2,000 adults was designed to answer the question "Are adults superstitious?" One survey item concerned the phrase "see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck." The poll found that just one-third of adults (33%) believe finding and picking up...
