1. FCH2COOH is most acidic carboxylic acid. Because F is most electronegative and strongest electron withdrawing group among F,Cl,Br and I.

2. CH3CH3 has highest pKa value and hence least acidic among them. As we know that here CH3CH3 has sp3 hybridisation, it means it has least acidic character. Here, CH3OH has least pKa value and is most acidic among them.

3. According to Bronsted-Lowry theory of acids and bases, Bases accepts H+ ions.

Here, species number 2 (HNO3) and 4 (HSO4-) accepts proton and hence are bases.

4. HI is more acidic than HF, is explained on the basis of electronegativity as F is more electronegative than I. So F is small in size and a stronger bond with H as compared to HI bond. Weak bond of HI easily breaks and give H+ and I- ions.
