Ans 1: D) All lipids contain fatty acids

Lipids are the hydrophobic molecules that are not soluble in water but are soluble in organic solvents. These lipids mostly contain fatty acids as one of their constituent but not all the lipids contain fatty acids necessarily.

These compounds have an ester functional group and are of different types such as : wax , glycolipids , phospholipids etc.
