7)Physical grinding method is adopted in this experiment for the size reduction of TiO2 powder. A quantity of 100gm TiO2 powder was put in a grinding machine which having high speed rotator. It was uniformly grinded and crushed well for 15 minutes with utmost precaution to avoid any contamination. At the end, the finely grinded powder was separated. Thus, the bulk TiO2 powder was made as nano-sized powder. The powdered material was packed in plastic pouches and stored in normal room temperature until use.
Dust particles were divided based on the content of the main element. As the main one the particles with maximum signal in EDX spectrum were selected.According to the results obtained, mineral particles, combustion dusts and biological particulates dominated and predominantly metallic particulate matter comprises only a small percent of all dusts analyzed. Particles with metals Fe, Zn, Cu, Ti, Ba, and Mn were mostly present in Hillingdon. The positive peaks in the component spectrum from this phase (above Fig) correspond with the light regions of the component image.the TI signal from the interface varies independently from the elements with which it is spectrally overlapped in the raw data.
