A ducting system has to distribute 63 CMM of dehumidified air to
the rooms (R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5) of a building as shown in the
picture. The flow quantities of each diffuser are given in the
table.
The total pressure available is 5.2mm of water and the pressure
loss at each uotlet diffuser is assumed to be equal to 1 mm of
water. The lengths of each duct segment are shown in the picture.
The equivalent straight length of the:
Entrance to air handler = 3m
For each of the elbow = 86 m
For each straight through section at Tee = 4 m
For each branch at Tee = 10 m
Duct velocities should be about 4.5 cm/s or less.
Determine the diameter of each section of the longest run of ducting system using the equal FRICTION-DROP method.
Please show any charts or any other materials used and do it step by step please.

Water flows through a pipe as shown below. A1 and A2 have equal radii of r1=r2=.05 m. A3 has a radius r3=.15 m. The section of the pipe between A1 and A2 is made that it has an unknown cross sectional area. The initial velocity of the fluid and pressure of the fluid and pressure at location 1 is 10 m/s and 6.01x10^5 N/m^2 respectively. (Water has a density of 1000 kg/m^3 also treat the water as ideal i.e. negligible...
summarizr the followung info and write them in your own words and break them into different key points. 6.5 Metering Chamber: 6.5.1 The minimum size of the metering box is governed by the metering area required to obtain a representative test area for the specimen (see 7.2) and for maintenance of reasonable test accuracy. For example, for specimens incorporating air spaces or stud spaces, the metering area shall span an integral number of spaces (see 5.5). The depth of...

Before beginning the design of an apparatus meeting this standard, the designer shall review the discussion on the limitations and accuracy, Section 13, discussions of the energy flows in a hot box, Annex A2, the metering box wall loss flow, Annex A3, and flanking loss, Annex...
