total feb students = 8+17+16+6

so proabbaility = (8+17+16+6)/389 = 0.12

b)
total elec eng students (8+16+10+3+4+6+17+7+10+6+0+2)/389 = 0.228

c)

mech eng in aug = 5

so probability is 5/389


d)

born in july = (17+6+17+1)/389 = 0.105

chem eng = (5+8+7+11+4+13+17+18+10+15+6+8)/389 = 0.313

july and chem eng = 17/389 = 0.043

so the

required prob is = 0.105 +0.313 -0.043 = 0.375
