Question

Hi,

Please answer clearly with details, as you can. I really want to understand it.

Thank yuo so mcuh for your help!

2. A negatively-charged electron and its antiparticle, a positively-charged positron, are shot at different times into a magnetic field directed into the paper. Sketch the path you would expect each particle to take as it moves through the magnetic field. 3. You wonder if you could support your clothesline by running an electric current through it while it resides in the 0.5 x 10 T magnetic field due to the Earth. Well assume that you are in Costa Rica near the equator, where the field is parallel to the Earths surface. The line is to be 10 m long. You estimate that with the clothes attached, its mass is 2.0 kg. What direction should you orient the line and what electric current is needed to support the line? Finally, does this seem like a promising way to support a clothesline? Explain.

I would really appreciate if someone answer these question. Thank you. A charged particle moving in the presence of both an electric and magnetic field moved in a closed path (i.e. a path that begins and ends at the same point). If the energy of the particle at the end of the closed path is 2.0J greater than its energy when it began the path, which of the following statements is correct? a. The magnetic field performed 2.0 J of...

please help with these thank you so much! Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a medical technique for producing "pictures" of the interior of the body. The patient is placed within a strong magnetic field. One safety concern is what would happen to the positively and negatively charged particles in the body fluids if an equipment failure caused the magnetic field to be shut off suddenly. An induced emf could cause these particles to flow, producing an electric current within the...
