If the MF is C10 H14 the no of rings present are 2, since it already has 2 double bonds, ie, one is b/n C-C and other is b/n C-O .

Here hydrogen deficiency index is 4. In this 2 are already satisfied from the given information, the remaining 2 corresponds to two rings.
