A manufacturer’s portal must have all the functionalities and features which facilitate the day to day working of the manufacturer. The portal must facilitate the following:

  • View, sort and select best carriers
  • All the PO and load information
  • Access the vendor production plans
  • Manage inbound and outbound transportation in one system
  • Specify multiple criteria in additional to cost for carrier selection

The manufacturer’s portal need not allow the vendors to input or update the status of PO. The vendor can update the same on his end but will not have access to do the same in the manufacturer’s portal.
