q1 a) since both NO and CO has dipole moment, they will experience intermolecular ion-dipole attractions. so NO will dissolve in liquid CO quickly.

b) Here both chlorine and bromine is a linear,non-polar molecule, since chlorine has small size and more electronegativity, so it will attract bromine via London dispersion forces.

q2. since ionic solid compounds are packed and bound in the lattice, so the ions could not move, if an ion can not move electron won't move, we know the current actually flows of the electron. but in the solution phase, the size of ions increases but they can move that's why they can conduct electricity. in molten phase ions are free to move so they can conduct electricity in the molten or liquid phase.

q3. when in polar solvent say water sodium thiosulphate is added, firstly it dissolves very quickly, at this point is the solution is called unsaturated solution, on further addition of thiosulfate a certain point will come,thiosulphate will start precipited out from solution,the condition when addition of a little amount of thiosulphate will start precipitation is called saturated point and the solution is called saturated solution. After further addition of thiosulphate will form supersaturated solution.
