Now,

n! = n * (n – 1) * (n – 2) * 1

So,

11! 11 * 10 * 9 * 8 * 7 * 6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1 231 5! * 6! 5*4 * 3 * 2 *1 * 6 *5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1

Different number way 5 students be chosen out of 11 = 231

Now,

Different number of ways to select 3 male children and 2 female children :

7! 7! 4! 4! (*C3) * (C2) = 2! * 5! 3! * (4 – 3)! 2! * (7 – 2)! 3!

4 * 3 * 2 * 1 7 * 6 *5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1 84 2 * 1 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1 3 * 2 * 1

So,

Different number of ways to select 3 male children and 2 female children = 84

Now,

Probability that 3 male children and 2 female children be chosen for the experiment = 84 / 231 = 0.364
