Answer #1

here,

masses , m1 = 5 kg

m2 = 10 kg

the accelration of the ehavier mass , a = net force /effective mass

a = ( m2 - m1) * g /( m1 + m2)

a = ( 10 - 5) * 9.8 /( 10 + 5)

a = 3.27 m/s^2

the accelration is A) between 0 and 9.8 m/s^2

    Two masses are connected on a frictionless pulley. M1 = 9 kg sits on a frictionless horizontal surface and is connected to a spring with a spring constant of k = 250 N/m. M2 = 6kg and hangs off the edge of the surface. Initially, both masses are at rest and the spring is at its equilibrium.
