Rejection region is the area which indicates the area beyond critical values.
A null hypothesis is rejected if test statistic lies in the rejection region.

p-value is the probability of getting the test statistic if the null hypothesis is true.
Hence p-value is also indicates the area.
if the p-value area is less than the rejection region area, we reject the null hypothesis
