Answer #1

It’s true that a Renaissance man is a person with genuine competence in and understanding of multiple different fields, all of which complement one another to make him a more talented and productive person.

This term came into existence to mention someone who is talented in many fields that are related to one another thus making the person not only talented but also competent. It was during the renaissance period when many people such as Leonardo Davinci who were competent in many different fields emerged successful. It was also time that people rejected the strict religious notions and tried their skills in many fields.
